As a practicing Christian physician, I see every day how essential it is to care for the whole person—body, soul, and spirit. Daily communion with God through prayer is foundational to that care. “Be Still and Go” is a practical, powerful resource I can now recommend to patients who want to deepen their spiritual health.
Dr. Craig Amnott, Family Physician
Ed Finnerty writes as a faithful member and men’s discipleship leader in the church, offering an encouraging starting point for those learning how to pray. His humble, practical approach shows how prayer fits into everyday discipleship. He helps remove the pressure many feel around prayer, inviting readers to start where they are.
Binu Thomas, DMin, EdD
Executive Pastor, Echo Grace Church
Ed Finnerty’s Be Still and Go is a warm, honest, and deeply practical book that speaks to both new and seasoned believers who struggle to stay consistent in prayer. Through personal stories, biblical teaching, and clear action steps, Finnerty presents prayer not as a performance, but as a real, transforming relationship with God rooted in everyday life. His transparent style and encouragement to move from passive faith to intentional spiritual growth make this book both relatable and spiritually motivating.
